What BlindWoW keeps
- If you log in with Battle.net: your BattleTag and the list of your World of Warcraft characters. Never your Battle.net password, email address or payment details.
- If you sign up with email: your email address, a scrambled form of your password that cannot be turned back into it, and the character you added.
- Your choices on the site, such as which characters to show and your accessibility settings.
- Combat logs you upload, and what you import from the add-on, such as your spellbook, saved fights and places.
- Simple visit records: which pages are visited and when you log in, so the site can be improved. Visitors who are not logged in are recorded with a code that changes every day, not their address.
Who else handles your information
- Blizzard provides the game data shown on character and guild pages, and handles Battle.net logins.
- Stripe handles payments. BlindWoW only keeps a record that a payment was made and its amount, never your card details.
- Amazon Web Services stores uploaded combat logs and nightly backups of the site, kept private to BlindWoW.
What BlindWoW does not do
- No advertising and no outside tracking companies.
- Your details are never sold.
How long things are kept
- Original combat log files are deleted after 90 days (120 days for some guilds). The fight summaries made from them stay on the site.
- Backups are replaced after about a month.
Your choices
- Untick a character on My characters to hide it.
- Unlink BlindWoW in your Battle.net account settings at any time.
- Ask a guild officer, or the site administrator, to delete your account.
