About BlindWoW
BlindWoW has two parts that work together: an add-on for the game and this website.
The add-on reads World of Warcraft aloud, including your bags, mail, trainers, professions, chat and menus. It can also guide you around cities along routes you record yourself.
The website lets you and your guild look up characters, gear, progress, collections and fight logs. Every page can be shown in an accessible view with text and tables, or in a full view with charts and pictures.
What you can do on the website
- Characters: see gear, stats, Mythic+ scores, raid progress, reputations, professions and achievements, and follow your progress over time.
- Spells and talents: find out what every spell and talent does, including cast time, cost and cooldown.
- Collections: browse your mounts, pets, toys, heirlooms and titles, see what you are still missing, and learn where each one comes from.
- Combat logs: upload a raid or dungeon log and review every fight, including damage, healing, interrupts, and a hit-by-hit account of each death.
- Comparisons: see how you rank against other players of your class on each boss, and how you improve from week to week.
- Guild roster: view everyone in your guild and open any member's character page.
- Routes: share places and routes recorded in the add-on, and copy other members' routes into your own.
What Battle.net shares with BlindWoW
You log in on Blizzard's own page, so BlindWoW never sees your password.
BlindWoW receives
- Your BattleTag.
- The list of World of Warcraft characters on your account.
BlindWoW never receives
- Your Battle.net password.
- Your email address or payment details.
- Any way to change your account, characters or game.
What this allows
- All of your characters appear on the site, confirmed as yours. You choose which ones other members can see.
- Stats and progress are tracked for each character you choose to show.
You can remove BlindWoW's access at any time in your Battle.net account settings. A guild officer approves each new member before they can see guild pages.
